General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Continuing Education Programs of YWAM Olten
As of March 20, 2026

1. Principle
Participants acknowledge these GTC upon registration for the respective continuing education program of YWAM Olten.
The School Management Team (members of the Association’s Board) issue the GTC, program descriptions, and regulations. These define the admission requirements, obligations, and performance assessment for successful completion.

2. Admission and Registration
Registration is binding, and receipt of admission is confirmed. The program management decides on admission and may set additional conditions. Admission decisions are justified and communicated in writing. There is no legal entitlement to admission. The number of participants is limited.
Upon a positive admission decision, participants receive confirmation by email. Invitation documents are sent with the first invoice before the start of the program.

3. Fees and Costs
School Fees must be paid within 30 days of invoicing. Partial payments (installments) are possible and are governed separately by YWAM Olten’s payment terms and a separate agreement.
Costs for accommodation and meals during school days are included. For specialized seminars, modules are billed individually.

4. Cancellation and Program Changes

Cancellation by Participants:
Cancellation of registration is free of charge up to the start of the program. Cancellations after the school start will be charged. The reason for absence is irrelevant. In the event of non-attendance or withdrawal during the program, the full cost is payable.

Cancellation by YWAM Olten:
YWAM Olten expressly reserves the right to cancel the program, even after a positive admission decision and written confirmation, up to four weeks before the start. This may occur due to insufficient participant numbers or circumstances that make conducting the program unreasonable from YWAM Olten’s perspective. Payments already made will be fully refunded.

Program Changes
YWAM Olten reserves the right to make program changes (time, instructors, format, etc.) that serve quality development and/or organizational feasibility.

5. Early or Extraordinary Termination
Participation in the continuing education program may be terminated early by withdrawal of the participant or by extraordinary exclusion. In such cases, a participation certificate listing attended modules/units and completed performance assessments will be issued.

Program management may exclude participants if successful completion is no longer possible due to failed assessments, missed deadlines, other requirements, or serious breaches of duty. Serious breaches of duty include, in particular:

  • Non-payment of participation fees

  • Repeated violation of attendance obligations

  • Violation of copyright, particularly creating plagiarism

  • Breach of confidentiality agreements

  • Any kind of violations of the school regulations

  • Any form of criminal activity

6. Handling of Data
Participants agree that their registration data may be stored and processed electronically for internal purposes and statistics, as well as for sending YWAM Olten communications and promotional materials.
Promotional communications from YWAM Olten can be unsubscribed from at any time verbally or in writing. A list of all participants is distributed at the start of the first day of the program. Sharing of data with third parties is prohibited.

7. Copyrights
All learning videos, course materials, presentations, and other materials are protected by copyright. They may be used by participants only for personal learning purposes. Reproduction, sharing, or commercial use without the express consent of YWAM Olten is prohibited.

8. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure by Participants
Participants undertake to treat all personal, institutional, or case-related information provided by other participants or by the course management during the program as confidential. Sharing with third parties—verbally, in writing, or digitally—is expressly prohibited.

9. Completion
The program is successfully completed when the requirements according to the regulations are met. After successful completion, the corresponding certificate and/or participation confirmation will be awarded. Certificates obtained through unfair means may be revoked by the Education Management.
